Bank of Khyber

About

The Bank of Khyber was established in 1991 by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and granted scheduled bank status by the State Bank of Pakistan three years later. Headquartered in Peshawar, it is unusual among Pakistani banks in running conventional and Islamic banking at comparable scale, and its network is concentrated in the province that owns it — including districts where it is one of very few banks present at all.
